Later that afternoon at Manor Bottom, same window, again watching a dunnock. It was merrily bob, bob, bobbing along, picking up seed. In an instance, there was a sparrowhawk, and in an instant more it was away with the dunnock in its beak. I thought of my one-eyed little pal and considered how lucky he was!
